Application |
FAST G-1 is a perfect finishing coat designed for finishing and decorative works in construction business. Owing to its characteristic features it can be used as an ideal leveling layer under coats of paint. It can be used for joining gypsum elements, filling up any defects or hollows on wall and ceiling surfaces inside buildings. |
Characteristics |
FAST G-1 finishing coat is a ready for use dry mixture manufactured on the base of anhydrite powder with addition of fillers and modifiers improving its plasticity and making it easy to apply. When setting it does not shrink and after drying it can be easily worked out. Its great value is a prolonged time of readiness for use as well as the snow-white colour, which lowers down the use of paint. |
Preparation of the base |
FAST G-1 can be used on cement-lime, concrete or gypsum bases free from any impurities, such as dust, dirt and grease. The base must be fast and cleaned of any old paint coats. If there is a need to decrease the absorptivity of the surface, use the priming agent FAST GRUNT G.
Do not apply the finishing coat on whitewash.

Instructions |
FAST G-1 should be poured into a container with a clean water stirring continuously (for example, using a slow-running drill) until a desired consistence is reached. When stirring manually, first pour the finishing coat into the water until the whole water is absorbed and then stir thoroughly in order to eliminate any pellets. After thorough mixing, leave the product for approximately 5-10 minutes and stir again. In case of filling the defects on the surface, the consistence of the mortar should be thicker than in case of the finishing coat. The coat prepared in this way maintains its features even after several hours, provided that during a break in applying it must be stored in a tightly closed container.
FAST G-1 must be applied evenly onto the base with a stainless steel float, pressing it at the same time. After drying up, small irregularities and roughnesses must be removed with abrasive paper or a grinding mesh.
